Our founders and company history

Marta and Dusan started DJH Engineering Center, Inc. in late 1986 and the company was incorporated in 1987.

The company began working on underground mining equipment, axles, transmissions, and gearboxes for mining applications before taking on new and different projects such as FELs, dozers, ADTs, excavators, etc. The company also worked within the Aerospace industry, pushing the limits of the computers and the engineers. With the declining need for the Strategic Defense Initiative, DJHEC focused on the agricultural and construction industries for greater stability. These experiences helped DJHEC grow their capabilities into what we offer our customers today. With their team of engineers, DJHEC has been able to achieve what other companies can only talk about. Projects that our company has participated on, having John Deere as a customer, achieving our Supplier status consistently, attention to quality and detail, our effective management, and project work are a testament to the core beliefs that our founders and owners created this company around.

As of January 1 2019, Dusan J Hvolka and Marta Hvolka have changed their roles at DJH Engineering Center, Inc. Dusan J Hvolka is the Chairman of the Board and Marta Hvolka is the Vice Chairman.

The ground work is laid for the company, and we are here to keep the legacy going.
